Tracey Bloser, Mezzo-soprano is currently on faculty at Maui Music Mission in Lahaina, providing instruction in voice, piano, theory and performance practices. In addition, she has a private studio in voice and piano. She received her Bachelor of Music in Voice from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and her Master of Music in Voice from The Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford, CT. Shortly after receiving her degree, she became a founding member of Hartford Opera Theater, performing and producing new works and contemporary interpretations of opera theater in the city for several years. She was most recently featured as the Alto soloist for Maui Chamber Orchestra’s production of Handel’s Messiah at the Iao Theater in Wailuku. Tracey is thrilled to be contributing to the growing classical music scene on Maui. Singing, piano, opera, choir and musical theater have all been a major part of her life since early childhood. Tracey is especially committed to imparting this love, knowledge, and experience of classical music to the youth of Maui, by enriching the local music programs and focusing on their quality and expansion.
